

Encore at Tradition is a premier 55+ community in Port St. Lucie, Florida, offering resort-style living for active adults who are ready to embrace the next chapter on their own terms. When Grit & Gravel came on as their full marketing partner, the goal was clear: build a marketing engine that could match the energy and ambition of the community itself, and attract residents who were genuinely excited about the life waiting for them inside.
The creative direction started with a clear point of view. We wanted the website and all marketing materials to feel less like a senior living brochure and more like a cruise line: vibrant, aspirational, and full of life. That meant bright photography, bold design choices, and copy that spoke to adventure and possibility rather than amenity checklists. The result is a custom-built website that feels genuinely distinct in a category where most communities look and sound exactly alike.
One of the most meaningful strategic contributions was developing the five lifestyle pillars that now anchor everything Encore communicates: Relax, Explore, Connect, Thrive, and More. These aren't just navigation labels. They're a content strategy and a brand promise, giving the community a framework to organize events, social posts, blog content, and marketing campaigns around the actual experiences residents come to Encore for. Every piece of content has a home, and every prospective resident can immediately see themselves somewhere in that story.
From there, we executed across every channel. Custom photo and video shoots brought the lifestyle to life with real imagery built specifically for the campaign. Social media, blogs, print materials, and ongoing content keep the brand active and visible, driving consistent interest from the right audience.
